Unpacking the suitcase

I seem to have this issue with unpacking my suitcase after coming home from a trip. There is obviously nothing difficult about unpacking it- I just don’t seem to get to it for a while after returning home. Here are a few examples:

1. Coming home from a trip up north earlier this year = 3 weeks before I unpacked my suitcase.

2. Returning home from a trip to visit the Creation Museum a few weeks ago on July 21st = didn’t unpack until July 31st, when I didn’t actually unpack- I just moved several things from that handheld suitcase into a rolling suitcase to take to Wichita Falls, Texas.

3. Returning home from the trip to Texas on August 2nd = not unpacking the suitcase until well, um, I haven’t actually unpacked it yet.

Case in point:

Pathetic, right? Today, I am making it a point to unpack that suitcase and get it put away until the next trip, when I am purposing to unpack as soon as I get home! =]

What projects have you been putting off that you need to get done? I want to encourage you to tackle those projects on your to-do list so that you don’t have to think about it any more. It’s quite nice to get rid of the little lingering projects that seem to go on forever!

A blessed day to all of you, friends!

  1. Oh Courtney. You just call me when you get home. I have everything unpacked and put away before Brandon and Schyler are even out of the car good. It’s a thing with me. I HAVE to unpack.

I would love to hear from you! =]
