A blessing

I wrote a little bit ago on how I believed God was bringing some healing to our home, in large and small ways both.

We found out last week that Lord willing, our family will be welcoming a new member next April. =]

After telling our church (and the youngest siblings) yesterday morning, we all had various announcements on Facebook last night:

Daddy: Number 13 is on the way!!! Expected arrival is April 2014. Hooray!

Mama: Our family is delighted to announce WE ARE EXPECTING our 13th blessing in April of 2014! Please keep us in prayer over the coming months.

Me: “So excited to find out that I will be be a big sister for the twelth time, as Baby Lambert #13 is on the way! I am so thankful for this precious gift. God is good, all the time. =]”

Josh, on Google+:
Now that my parents have made it “Facebook official”, it is with great joy that I announce sibling number 13 is on the way! It’s looking like he/she is due for arrival in April of 2014. Praise be to God, for His grace in all things.

We are all so very excited to welcome this newest little Lambert into our home. My mama shared the following Bible verses on Facebook last night, and we feel that they perfectly express the feelings in our home at this special time:

Psalm 30: 11-12

“You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.”

Psalm 126:3

“The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.”

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Feeling blessed,

  1. So very thankful and rejoicing with you all! It was an observation of my grandmother a month or so ago that almost without fail, the Lord follows up the sorrow of death with the giving of a new life! He makes all things new. :) Love to you!

I would love to hear from you! =]
